Spelling Bee

For the past few weeks a certain number of students have been preparing for an intense and challenging event: the Spelling Bee. No other event even comes close in perplexity and amount of tension created by the excitement of the crowd and the competitors. Flyers and Movers groups worked immensely on preparing for the event, even taking time from lessons to memorize the complicated words.
The finalists from each group successfully spelled their way through six rounds.
The younger students (Starters) were required to write words using Jolly Phonics sounds and they did very well! The audience was left in awe as every member of the school was fascinated by the incredible talent that the younger students portrayed.

The finalists on the day of the Spelling Bee were:
Flyers : 1st – Vera Tkacheva, 2nd – Alexander Ivanov, 3rd – Yuriy Lyubo
Movers: 1st – Anna Khwan, 2nd – Maria Belova, 3rd – Ekaterina Morozova

Starters 2: 1st – Eduard Partizpanyan, 2nd –Anna Zhuravleva, 3rd – Andrey Sokolskiy
Starters: 1st – Filipp Tayk, Tatyana Batukaeva, 2nd – Stephan Vol, 3rd – Alina Sazonova.
