Jack-o’-Lantern

On the eve of our Halloween holiday, we had a master class in making Jack-o’-Lanterns at our center.

The kids brought pumpkins which, under the teachers’ supervision, they carved into magnificent lanterns. The children got acquainted with various tools used to create Jack-o’-Lanterns and heard an entertaining story about the origins of this interesting tradition. The results were amazing! A variety of Jack-o’-Lantern faces were created by the hands of our young masters. In each work there was something personal and creative. Two hours flew by quickly. And at the end of the master class, we put candles into our pumpkins, turned off the lights, and before our eyes appeared scary, sad, laughing and grinning Jack-o’-Lanterns. Halloween's festive atmosphere has arrived in Happy Days.
