House Points System
We have introduced a House Points System at Happy Days School where children are grouped into House Teams. The house system is a traditional feature of schools in England. The school is divided into subunits called "houses" and each student is allocated to one house at the moment of enrolment. Houses may compete with one another, thus providing a focus for group loyalty. Houses are essential, as they create community spirit and give the children an opportunity to contribute to something bigger that involves children from all year groups. Our houses are Pandas, Koalas, Tigers, Snakes, Giraffes and Monkeys.
Over the year the pupils have earnt house points for academic progress, demonstrating positive behaviour for learning and exceptional home learning.
They have been totalled for this academic year and the results are:
1 st Koalas
2 nd Snakes
3 rd Tigers
At the end of the year Koalas group received recognition certificates at assembly and a laser tag ticket. Children enjoyed playing in the park.
Well done, Koalas!
