Earth Day

Now that spring is finally here, we at Happy Days started to get busy with our spring decorations. Our Pre-Starters, Starters and Movers group were our busy bees that are suited for this season. We celebrated International Earth Day.

On April 22nd each year, there are celebrations held in more than 192 countries around the world for Earth Day. It is to show support for protecting the environment. First, we learned and discussed how to participate in helping and saving our planet Earth. We also discussed about things that can be recycled.

We showed our support by planting seeds and making bird feeders. Our pre-starters enjoyed planting their seeds and seeing them grow each day. They are also responsible of watering them every time we would have a class. And our Starter and Movers group made their bird feeders from milk cartons. Their bird feeders were all beautiful and creative. In addition, we hang it outside Happy Days and now have a Happy Days tree where birds were happy to have lots of food and a house for the smaller birds. Great job everyone!
